Can I add my contribution to my tithe?
No, tithes and "I'm In" contributions need to stay separate. No matter if you give online, or by cash/check, there are easy ways to keep these separate. Plus, we want to be able to know who is saying "I'm In" so we can keep them up to date on what's happening!
How do I give online?
Visit heartlandchurch.com/login to access the online giving portal. Log in or sign up on the landing page, then select “Give” from the menu. Then, select “Repeating Gift” at the top of the page and choose “I’m In” from the “Choose Designation” dropdown box. This will help us keep you included in all of our future updates for the “I’m In” Initiative. Next, select your preferred giving frequency and start date to automate your contributions over the span of three years. Taking this step will ensure that your contribution towards “I’m In” will not interfere with your tithe.
What if I'm giving by cash or check?
Be sure to write "I'm In" in the memo portion of the check and indicate on the giving envelope that you would like it to be put towards the "I'm In" Initiative. This will be the best way for us to keep you updated in the future.
Is my giving towards "I'm in." tax-deductible?
Generally. Heartland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations that we receive are tax-deductible. However, you should consult your tax advisor to see if you can deduct your donations. You will receive a receipt of your gift by postal mail.
Do you accept contributions by means other than cash, check and online payment?
Yes. If you have stocks, bonds, precious metals, vehicles or any other assets that your would like to donate to Heartland Church, please email the Heartland Church Finance Office.
